EEDOS General Counselling Help

The first step

The initial step involves an assessment session where we will discuss your concerns and determine the best course of action. This could include a time-limited programme, ongoing counseling, or a referral to a specialised agency or practitioner.

I provide a variety of professional counselling services for adults, teens, and children. I am DBS checked.

Essex Eating Disorder & Obesity Counselling Service also offers general psychotherapy and counselling for a range of issues, including depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties, work-related stress, and bereavement, among others.

If I am unable to offer the specific treatment you need, I can refer you to another therapist or organisation that may be better suited to support you.

My Approach:

I provide a safe, confidential space where you can explore your challenges.

Depending on the nature of your concerns, I draw on various therapeutic methods, including Psychodynamic Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP).

Counseling can be short-term, medium-term, or long-term, and we’ll discuss the duration during the initial assessment. My goal is to equip clients with a ‘toolbox’ of practical solutions to use beyond the counseling sessions, where appropriate.
